Assembly News

We have had two Year Three assemblies this term. We hosted the first of these way back in Week Two! And I might say you did a splendid job.
It's a bit different in Year Three having to:

•  decide what you want to present, sing and share
• write the presenters' scripts
• write the scripts for the items

We began with the haka powhiri then we did some skits about the Smarts, shared our blog, sang some songs, showed some art and read some writing.

Congratulations to these children who received certificates that week.

In Week Four Room 13 were the hosts. We enjoyed finding out about the portrait work they have been doing and they showed us a cute programme for making word art that we should have a go at sometime soon.

Well done to this certificate trio!

We were very proud to be awarded the Heather Trophy at that assembly. Heather is our Caretaker and our trophy recognises the class that is taking responsibility for their environment.

We have been making a particular effort with our cloakroom
-which can get a bit messy!
