Yes siree bob, we've had a busy day! We hosted the Year Three Assembly in Room 17 today. Hugo and Willow were wonderful hosts working from a very scrappy script scribbled by me.
We showed some Gnarly Gnewspaper Bugs and our newspaper faces. Some children read their Autumn leaf poetry and pre-cross country values writing. The air was filled with sweet voices singing the theme song from the Greatest American Hero, which was appropriate because everyone was feeling heroic by this stage. We flapped our bunting in the breeze and sang happy birthday to a fine selection of seven and eight year olds.
