Nga Kaiako Hou.

Today we welcomed Amiria, Geszane and Te Ao from Akomanga Rua. They told us how they felt when they heard māori place names being pronounced incorrectly. We practised saying Papanui, Rāpaki and Otautahi correctly.

Next we practised the National Anthem in Māori. We also noticed that in the English version the line says "Guard Pacific's triple star" not "God Pacific's triple star"as many of you thought it was.
