Keep Warm!!

View from Room 17
We only have six children here today. They have gone over to Room 14 to be with the other Year Three children. It is certainly getting whiter out there - crazy!
So what can you do today?
You could:

  • write a poem called After the Snow Has Fallen using your senses
  • write an explanation of what snow is using the TIDES model. T= title: this is a question. I= introduction: this is the main answer. D= details: these give some details about the subject. E= extra information: this might be a quirky fact. S=summary: this is the main answer again written in a slightly different way, possibly including an important detail.
  • write a letter to someone in your family telling them about your snow day
  • write some instructions about how to build a snowman. You'll need a title, a list of equipment, directions (these begin with a command or bossy word)
If you do any of these things email them to me and I'll be able to post them on our blog sometime.
