Musical Instruments

We began exploring different musical instruments last Friday. By comparing an electric and an acoustic guitar we learned about the different ways instruments make music.
Tom demonstrated playing Smoke on the Water to us and then we watched a video of Deep Purple playing this rock classic.

We also listened to the song Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton This is a good demonstration of an acoustic guitar in action.

The guitar pictures you made are wonderful and look so funky up in the classroom! Over the next few weeks we'll learn about other instruments.
