Poetry Jam

What an exciting afternoon! Everybody performed so confidently in front of a large audience.  Soon the videos will be available but until then you'll just have to remember the highlights.

Extra big congratulations and good helping of luck go to the three children who will be representing Room 17 at the Poetry Finals on Thursday. First place went to Ethan and his performance of I Never Want to Go to Bed by Kenn Nesbitt. Emmanuel placed second with his poem called Brian by Doug Macleod. In third place came Isla with her recital of Pockets by Linda Sue Park. Mrs Simmons had a tough job choosing only three from 23 fine performances.
