Uh oh, We'd Sprung a Leak!

This morning we noticed that the carpet near the sink was wet - and we mean WET, not damp! There was a drip coming from the cupboard under the sink.
Once we had taken all the art supplies out of the cupboard we noticed that the drip was coming from a pipe at the back of the cupboard. We found a skinny container to collect the drips.
We called Heather and she and Brian came and had a look. They called the plumber and sucked up as much water as they could with the wet-vac.

Before long the plumber arrived in his van.

The plumber had to twist and turn to fit into the little cupboard.

He discovered that the pipe was twisted and that was making it leak.

 The pipe had to be replaced, but we got a photo of the old one before it was thrown away.

Hooray for Fintan's dad's plumbing company!

Now we just have to wait for the carpet to dry. It's a bit smelly in the meantime unfortunately.
