Yellow Hat - What were the good points?
- It was fun
- It was exciting to do it in front of lots of people
- We used great expression
- We used just enough props to tell the story but not so many that it was distracting
- Great acting
- Getting feedback about the good things we did
- Used initiative and creativity to create costumes
- We painted a scene with our words and actions
- Lots of people will have achieved their goals for reading
- Some people didn’t even need to use their script
- Great costumes
Black Hat- What were the problems?
- Sometimes people got muddled
- It was a bit nerve wracking
- Some people found it more difficult than they expected not using the script
- Everybody needs to work on making sure that the action people are noticing is what is ON stage not OFF stage
- Don’t hide behind your script
- Look up at the audience even when you’re reading your part
- It is hard to remember to keep your face towards the audience
- All the words need to be correctly said and pronounced this is tricky especially when you’re nervous
- Unexpected accidents - like ripping a script
- Hard to keep concentrating so that you come in at the right time
- Hard when you loose your place
Red Hat - How did we feel?
- Nervous
- Happy
- Excited
- Scared
- Freaked out
- Brave
- Proud
- Important
- Puzzled
- Great
Green Hat - What can we work on for Friday?
